The Senior Staff Forum is an annual event which brings together approximately 70 executive and senior staff from the IRU Australia member universities to discuss key higher education policy issues and advance the development of the network.

“Realms of Possibility: Dynamic collaboration in the new higher education policy environment”
The higher education policy environment is set to change in a number of fundamental ways. The Forum will raise awareness of these changes and their implications, and will also identify the ways in which collaboration between member universities and between IRU Australia and other stakeholder groups can benefit members within the new policy environment.
Forum Objectives 2009
The Forum will have the following objectives:
- Raise awareness of the new higher education policy environment and its implications for member universities and IRU Australia.
- Communicate the agreed IRU Australia 2009-2011 Strategy and renewed brand.
- Stimulate innovative thinking in relation to IRU Australia’s agreed areas of focus through specialist external and/or internal presentations.
- Provide informal networking opportunities for participants.
