IRU Background to Addressing The Standards Agenda

The overarching question for the 2012 Senior Staff Forum is how universities can work effectively with the array of external bodies to create a quality environment that:

• supports innovation and difference; and
• provides a sound basis for acting against bad delivery where it occurs.

The attached document provides a background to the quality discussions:
A. an outline of the national quality framework and the issues emerging, intended to stimulate discussion (page 3);

C. the TEQSA risk framework of 48 indicators (page 9);
