IRU Employability Assessment Toolkit
Eighteen employability assessment templates are available for you to download and adapt in your contexts. The templates cover a range of employability assessments, including job application tasks, reflection on employability skills, and a ‘me in a minute’ elevator pitch.
The toolkit will be useful for educators involved in designing assessments that develop students’ employability skills, whether in a stand-alone employability subject or as part of a discipline-based subject.
Each template includes a description of the assessment task, objectives, rationale, detailed description and marking rubric. You can use a template as is, change it to suit your needs, or just have a look to get some ideas
The toolkit was produced by Professor Jessica Vanderlelie in collaboration with IRU members.
